Software services firm HCL Technologies said it has bagged a contract worth 50 million dollars from UK-based defence equipment maker Meggitt for providing engineering services for its global operations.

Meggitt is an international group operating in North America, Europe and Asia and is known for its specialised extreme environment engineering.

It is a world leader in civil and military erospace equipment, sensing systems, combat support and defence systems training, the company said in a statement.
