Reliance Broadcast Network Limited inks 5-year contract with DMRC Reliance Broadcast Network Limited (RBNL) announced that the company has inked a five-year contract for the development of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation’s (DMRC) high potential Line III.
RBNL will build special media inventory at strategic locations of the stations that will offer business options to brands across sectors including pharma, retail, FMCG, government, education.
‘Delhi, being one of our key focus markets, has seen some very strategic inventory acquisitions in the recent past.. We are securing inventory which guarantee optimal returns, while allowing us to innovate and bring in street furniture which is evolved and of international standards,’ Business Head experiential marketing and digital RBNL Rabe T Iyer said in a statement.
‘Line III when combined with Line II will enable us to cover a significant portion of the customers out of home requirements in the capital,’ he added.
The company has also signed a 22-year contract on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis for street furniture makeover with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) on Central Public Works Department (CPWD) roads close to Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium, where the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Commonwealth Games will take place.
It has also tied-up with the Hong Kong-based Qumbet-known for the state of the art delivery across the countries of Turkey, China, Romania and Korea-for the upcoming October 3-11 mega events.
As part of the deal, the company will build public washrooms, police booths, traffic booths, information kiosks, information panels, free standing panels, benches, dustbins, and tree guards, the statement added.
RBNL will execute the DMRC as well as the MCD mandates through it’s out of home arm BIG Street.
